The owner of target permanent obtains gold X times, where X is the permanent's converted mana cost. Then gain control of that target permanent. (To obtain gold, put a colorless artifact token named Gold onto the battlefield. It has "Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.")
