Foster Hewitt
A Canadian radio broadcaster who thrived in the
1920s. He is most famous for his signature calls,
he shoots, he scores! At home activities were very
limited during the 1920s and 1930s. Listening to
the radio was a great way to cure the citizens
boredom however. Being able to catch the latest
hockey game with one of the most legendary broadcasters was always
enjoyable. (#)
