Galileo was apart of team Polymath.
He played astronomy, physics, and engineering.
Statistics: Invented the thermoscope, military compasses,
and the idea of heliocentrism.
Highlights: He confirmed the Phases of Venus, observed
the four largest satellites of Jupiter, and observed Saturn.
Galileo was asked by the Pope to recant his statement
about the Sun being the center of the solar system.
Nicknames: "Father of Observational Astronomy"
