Whenever a non-human creature is dealt
damage by a warrior you control, that
creature gets a tracking counter.
Whenever a creature with a tracking counter
blocks, that creature gets -0/-X equal to the
tracking counters on it and you draw a card.

It would be more apt to call them hunters rather than mercenaries.
