Genetic Drift

Change in the gene pool by randomly reducing
the numbers of organisms in a population.
Founder Effect is when a small number of individuals with a random set of genes relocate
and start a new population that is genetically different than the original.
Bottleneck events are a drastic reduction in
the size of a population, such as a forest fire.
