George Grant was born in Upper Musquodoboit,
NS; his father was a Scottish native, his mother
a 2nd generation English immigrant. George wed
Eleanor in Sheet Harbour, and they lived in this
house that he built ~1840. They were both over
70 when they left to Attleborough, MA, in 1894;
George died there, 10 years after Eleanor, at 89.
