-1/-1 counters.

If a permanent with -1/-1 counters on it would be put in a graveyard, put a number of +1/+1 counters equal to that permanent's mana value on target creature. That creature is goaded.

Whenever a goaded creature dies draw cards equal to half the number of counters on it rounded up.
