Governor General:Mary Simon

The governor general of Canada right now i believe is Mary Simon, she is Indigenous. And I believe her job or her responsibilities are "summoning, proroguing and dissolving parliament." She also does read the thrones speech and gives royal assent which makes turns bills made by the parliaments into laws.
