Great Depression in Germany

Just like almost all other countries during the time, Germany suffered severely from the Great Depression. On top of that, the US demanded back the money it had loaned to Germany. Hitler used the German people’s struggles to his advantage by promising them that the Nazi party would solve their economic problems and lead to national prosperity.
