Guillermo de Orange

Guillermo of Orange-Nassau, known as Guillermo of Orange, was born in Dillenburg, Germany on 24 April 1533-Delft and died on 10 July 1584, he was called the Taciturn, was a member of the House of Nassau and became Prince of Orange in 1544. Declared a rebel by Philip II of Spain in 1580, he was finally assassinated by Balthasar Gérard in 1584.
