Hannah Titus' parents are unknown - she is most
likely of English or possibly Dutch descent. Born
in Mason City, Illinois, she got married at 16, in
Tazewell, IL, and 5 girls and 2 boys were born to
the family. They moved to Texas in 1852, and af-
ter 31 years of marriage, Alexander died. Hannah
lived 25 years more - she's buried in Milford, TX.
