The angels first appeared to Empress Eleanour Celestias several millennia ago, granting the fledgling Empire the divine power to subjugate its neighbouring nations and begin to expand across the whole continent. They have since become synonymous with the imperial bloodline, serving the scions of Eleanour's three children - Solaris, Stellaris and Lunaris - as righteous protectors and merciless enforcers of their will.
