Whenever a player wins or loses the game, note
the number of nonland permanents they
controlled. When the game ends, the player with
the highest number noted wins the game, even if
they had previously lost.
Though the dragon was slain, it was a hollow victory.
Their houses burned, their loved ones devoured, their
livelihoods destroyed, the townsfolk had already lost
more than they could've dreamed.
