He's responsible for splitting England from the roman catholic church, doing so to divorce his wife, and doing so by using Martin Luther's splitting of the church into the Catholics and Protestant.
He also had 6 wives, but only loved 1. His first wife was his dead brother's wife, he killed his second, wives 4-6 were ignorable , but the third had a male heir, and his first had bloody Mary, and the second had Queen Elizabeth 1st.
