Hiram Walker

Hiram Walker was born in Tennessee; he may be
of Scottish, Irish or English ancestry. At age 20,
he married Judah George in Indiana, and they
moved to Texas in 1834. He received three
different land grants, working as a justice of the
peace, a minister and a farmer. After Judah
died in 1855, Hiram remarried, and was living in
Midway, Texas when he passed away, at 81 years.
