When a creature you control dies, put a +1/+1 counters on Illdark, the Fiend of Many.
If a creature or spell would do damage to you or a creature you control, prevent that damage and remove a +1/+1 counter on Illdark. Illdark deals X damage to target player or creature where X is how many +1/+1 counters are on Illdark.
