The black rain lasted three days. It had covered the land by a gruesome darkness. But when it was gone, the true nightmare begun. Everywhere around the little village of Old Crow Fort, the earth began to seethe and the once so bright Plains became dark and cratered. And then, in a foggy night, these incarnations of woe emerged from the blackened ground.
