Jagmeet Singh

Former lawyer, Jagmeet Singh, is the leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP) which holds 41 seats in the
House of Commons. The NDP strongly values giving
youth leadership roles, creating equality, caring for the environment, increasing Social Security and introducing universal medical care. Singh joined the NDP in 2011
and was elected leader of the party on October 1, 2017.
He can speak English, French, and Hindi and has two degrees: a B.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario
and an LL
