Jo March

Jo March is a strong-willed, independent young
woman. She is caring and loving as well as clumsy
and easily-angered. She marries Professor Bhaer
near the end of the book and opens a school for
boys.
"Fifteen-year-old Jo was very tall, thin, and
brown, and reminded one of a colt, for she
never seemed to know what to do with her
long limbs, which were very much in her way."
