John Adams

John Adams was one of the Founding Fathers. He was a lawyer who successfully defended the British soldiers who were on trial for the Boston Massacre. He was on the committee that helped write the Declaration of Independence; he encouraged Thomas Jefferson to write it. He was the second President of the United States and Thomas Jefferson was the third.
