John D. Rockefeller

John D. Rockefeller was a robber baron from the gilded ages. He was an extremely wealthy man and got there by in the oil business. He used horizontal integration to do so. This is similar to a monopoly by buying or "trusting" a company. He was known to use dirty tactics to get what he wanted and to obtain his wealth.
