Joseph of Arimathea

Joseph of Arimathea, a rich follower of Jesus,
urgued the Roman commander Pontius Pilate
to release Jesus' body, to be buried in a new
grave. According to legends, Joseph managed
to collect a few drops of Jesus blood, possibly
in the same vessel used during the Last Supper.
