Josquin Desprez

Born in 1450, and often referred to as Josquin was a very famous composer during the Renaissance era. Josquin was the most famous European composer between Guillaume Dufay and Giovanni Pierlugi da Palestrina, and is usually sen as the central figure of the Franco-Flemish school. Josquin is widely seen by muscial scholars to be the first master of the high Renaissance style.
