When King Veris, Lord of Words enters the
battlefield, you become the monarch.
The beginning of each players upkeep, that
player may become the monarch. If a player does
and they are one of your opponents, you and
permanents you control gain protection from
that player until the beginning of your next turn.
If they don't, you may draw a card.
