Land for Hire

At the beginning of each players upkeep, they may pay X life to target opponent, where X is up to number of untapped lands they control. They add X mana in any combination of colours to their mana pool and the targetted opponent taps X lands they control.
When the depression hit, many people tried to sell their holdings, but all the selling just made people poorer.
