Lilla Weneda

Sculpture by Alfredus Daun, Inspired by
the 5-act Theater Play 'Lilla Weneda',
a pseudo-historical tragedy written by
the Polish Poet Slowacki Juliusz in 1839,
published in Paris in 1840. The play gives
an iconoclastic representation of the
beginnings of the Polish state. Up to today,
the Play isn't translated into English.
