-Influenced art, sciences, writing, etc. Founded first dance institution in the western world. Influenced classical ballet.
-Strengthened the Military by adding 270,000 soldiers in nearly 30 years. The military was made professional and disciplined. Louis also strengthened the Navy.
-Louis also made France the leading country in Europe. After the Franco-Dutch Way, France gained land from Spain, and his empire grew larger.
