If Magma Fiend is dealt damage by a source controlled by an opponent, target up to X lands that player controls, where X is the damage dealt to Magma Fiend. Those lands are mountains in addition to their other types.
If Magma Fiend dies, it deals 1 damage to target player and each creature that player controls for each mountain they control.
