Magnetic Confinement Fusion

Magnetic confinement is used in fusion research
as a way of generating and storing fusion fuel and
energy. However,ionizing and magnetizing a gas
enables mages to create basic lightsabers,
energy swords, or other plasma tools.
Holding the shape of an object requires some
tapped Mana, but striking with a weapon will
require spending Mana. A super-heated lethal
strike is possible by fusing the fuel in the blade
at the right time.
