At the beginning of each upkeep, you get a boon with "Counter the next spell an opponent controls" you may play any spell countered this way by paying X mana of any colour.
At the beginning of your upkeep, you get a boon with "If the next spell you cast is an instant or sorcery spell, copy it. If it's a permanent spell, create a token that's a copy of that card"
