Marcion of Sinope

Marcion believed that, while Jesus was good and brought a message of peace, the Old Testament
God was not his father, evil and against Jesus.
Marcion reminds us of the incorrect teachings
about Christianity which we call "Heresies," and represents a diverse group of heretical thinkers
called "gnostics."
O wonder beyond wonders, rapture, power, and
amazement is it, that one can say nothing at all about the gospel, nor even conceive of it, nor compare it with anything.
