Marco Polo

Marco Polo was born in September 15 1254 Venice Italy and died on January 8 1324. He was a travel merchant who recorded in book Travels Of Marco Polo. The book introduced Europeans to Central Asia and China. He traveled to China where he served in Mongol leader Kublai Khans court. When he returned to Europe he explained what he saw in China explaining the luxury items like silk and porcelain.
