Lifelink, when Merfolk child enters the battle field, add 4 blue mana to your mana pool.
Merfolk child's counter, or X, is equal to the number of blue creatures in play (add +1/+1 for each blu creature including opponent's) and that's including the 2/1 counter it already has!
