Lifelink Whenever another creature you control would die, instead tap Mingwei, Guild Healer Extraordinaire, prevent that damage, and put a Barely Alive counter on that creature. Creatures with Barely Alive counters have hexproof and “This should have killed me.” Mingwei can’t gain experience counters. (He’s too busy healing.) “I could level… but then who would keep you alive?”
