Minority Government
A minority government results when a political
party wins the most seats in the House of
Commons, but not the majority of seats. Under Minority
government,
the vote can be overturned in the House Of
Commons if all other parties decide to work
together. But this can also be good for the country because no
party has control over which ideas
become laws during the vote, so they
cannot on vote on things that only they are interested in.
