Mount Doom

Choose a magic item you own, unless you have
the One Ring, then it's selected. A volcano rises
from the earth 4,000' high. All in 1,000' will be
obsessed with owning the item, including you.
To end this curse, drop the item in the volcano
& destroy it. To resist curse for 1 MR, roll a
save vs. insanity or ME check. If the item is
taken from you, 9 phantoms throw you into
the volcano instead & all returns to normal.
