Neutron Decay

Quarks can be transmuted by tapping mana into
them, resolving with a change of flavor.
While it is possible to create quarks from mana,
and therefore to create any element by alchemy,
tapping mana into natural sources and
transmuting fewer neutrons can yield a higher
output of heavy elements without fully spending
mana into quarks.
