You can use an action to play the instrument
and cast one of its spells:  Hunger of Hadar,
Arms of Hadar, Darkness, Hideous Laughter, Enthrall, Crown of Madness, Mass Suggestion.
Once a spell is cast it can't be cast again until the nextdawn. The spells use your spellcasting ability andspell save DC. When you play the instrument
while casting any of these spells you impose Disadvantage on Wisdom saving throws against a target that can hear you.
