Open the Tome

You may either scry 3 or fateseal 1.
If you scry 3, you may put up to one of the cards into your hand, any cards not put into your hand this way is put onto the top of your library.
If you fateseal 1, you may put the card into its owner's graveyard. If you do, you lose life equal to its converted mana cost. This loss of life cannot be prevented or redirected.
