Pan

Pan is the son of Hermes and Penelope. Pan is the god of flocks and shepherds. His home is Arcadia. He fell in love with the nymph syrinx. Pan captured syrinx. After syrinx was captured she pleaded to Zeus to free her. So Zeus turned syrinx into reeds. Enraged pan smash the reeds. He later felt sad and was kissing the reeds. He learned when he blew into them they made sound, so he made an instrument called the syrinx named after her.
