Whenever a player taps a land for mana, that player adds one mana of any colour that land could produce to their mana pool.
Whenever an opponent loses unspent mana, they lose that much life and you gain that much life. Whenever a player spends mana to activate an ability of an artifact or creature, they take that much damage and you gain that much life.
