At the beginning of each end step, put a plague counter on up to one creature you don’t control. Creatures get -1/-1 for each plague counter on them.

When a creature with X plague counter on it dies, if its toughness was less than 1, draw a card and, put one plague counter on up to X creatures you don't control.
