Peter the Hermit

•Born in 1050, and became a priest of
Amiens that became a key figure during the
First Crusade.
•Was enthusiastic and a good preacher.
•Poor leader and eventually deserted during
the Crusades.
{bull}Is questioned as a veteran or not and has not
been beatified at all in the Catholic Church.
