Poseidon is one of the 12 Olympians. Poseidon was a violent god of the sea. Poseidon was feared as a provoker of earthquakes and praised the creator of the
horse. During the Gigantomachy, the god
used the trident to break off a piece of the island Kos, which he finally buried the Giant Polybotes.
