As long as Protozoa, Viral Origins is attached to a creature, it isn't a creature.
At the beginning of each upkeep put a -1/-1
counter on enchanted creature. If the enchanted
creature would die, you may pay {g}{g}. If you do,
enchant a new creature. If you don't, Protozoa
becomes a creature.
