Lucin started his journey with the intention to accrue enough power and influence to challenge his much older siblings for the potential to inherit the throne, as well as make a name for himself past the break in the Nine Heirs he represented. He ended it with the resolution to try and save the Empire from the folly of its rulers, even if it meant risking his life.
