This abjuration grants a creature limited protection
from damage against whichever one of the five
energy types you select. The Subject gains resistance
10 to that energy type. At 7th CL the resistance
becomes 20 points, and at 11th level the resistance
becomes 30 points. The Resist Energy only protects
against damage. The subject can still suffer from
unfortunate side affects such as
drowning in a vat of acid.
