Ring of binding

A magical ring which when when worn allows the user to bind ‘one’s’ soul together if not fully connected. It also allows you to control what part takes control at a time. If it fails you will take 1d8 psychic damage when linking together. This takes an action and you need to roll a wisdom check and succeed to become bound together but if it fails it will either do nothing or deal damage based on how low you roll.
