Each player chooses a colored permanent
they control. Chosen permanents have protection from all colors as long as Rites of Ascending is in your graveyard.
At the beginning of your end step, if Rites
of Ascending is in your graveyard, sacrifice a
colored permanent. If you don't, exile Rites
of Ascending from your graveyard.
