Monstrosity 1 - If you would draw a card, you may skip that draw and pay {1}{g}{w}; if you do, Sad Panda becomes monstrous. As long as Sad Panda is monstrous, it takes no damage from non-legendary unequipped creatures and planeswalkers of converted mana cost 5 or less and has the Shapeshifter subtype.

Few sages are even aware of the existence of the Kofu, an all but forgotten race of surface-dwelling dark-skinned elves. Most are not as dour as the wandering Sad Panda.
